How ChongLuaDao (CLD) Operates
ChongLuaDao operates based on a combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and the collective power of its user community. CLD provides a browser extension compatible with popular browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Cốc Cốc, Edge, and Brave. When users access websites, the extension works through the following mechanisms:
-
Real-time Analysis:
A Machine Learning algorithm (optimized Random Forest model) runs directly within the user’s browser, analyzing website features instantly to determine the website's safety level. -
Community-based Ratings:
Users can rate websites using a scale from 1 to 5 stars and leave comments based on their browsing experience. This community-generated data is continuously collected and analyzed by the ML system to compute an overall safety score for each website. -
Manual Moderation:
CLD’s cybersecurity experts manually review and verify reports submitted by users to ensure accuracy before updating the warning database. -
Denylist and Shared APIs:
Websites identified as malicious are added immediately to CLD’s Threat Intelligence Feed (Denylist). CLD shares this threat data through public APIs with global partners such as Twitter/X, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Kaspersky, Avast, and others, enhancing collective online protection efforts.
